Young Starters Section

We have a young starters section, we have places available for boys and girls aged between 4 and 6.

This site looks at Essex Comets Youth Football Club you can view all our teams fixtures, results and match reports from the Thundermite League, for the 2009/10 season.  

Essex Comets Youth Football Club have 3 teams (2 under 8 teams and under 14's), we also hold a basic football coaching section which caters for 4-8 year old children who want to learn the basics of the great game.

Our teams compete in the Thundermite League and are affilliated to Essex County Football Association.

Our training sessions are normaly held on saturdays and our league games are played on sundays. We play our home games at Blackshots which is in Grays and St Cleres School, Stanford-le-Hope.  

All our coaches are F.A. Qualified to a minimum of level 1 and CRB checked via the Football Association as are all our volunteers and helpers.

This site is updated regulary during the playing season, and will include any pre-season tournaments, friendlies, events etc...

17th January 2008

 We have today received official confirmation that Essex Comets have been awarded the

 Charter Standards award from the Football Association, also we have been accredited the

 Club SX award from Sport Essex. As the Club Secretary here at Essex Comets I would like to

 say what a great honour it is to be granted these awards, it shows that we as a club are working

 and heading in the right direction and will always continue to do so.
